Wrigley Field Facts
Wrigley Field is the home to the Chicago Cubs. The field was built in 1914 and is one of the classic MLB ballparks. Wrigley Field is ‘old school’ with it’s original scoreboard still intact. The scoreboard is updated by hand. Although, Wrigley Field seats over 40,000 fans it has a spring training feel. The Chicago Cubs fans are true fans. You might call them FANATICS. You’ll enjoy the Cubs song, Go Cubs Go and you’ll find yourself singing along.
Wrigley Field has vines lining the outfield wall. The original vines were purchased and planted by Bill Veeck in September 1937. The ivy is just one of the things that makes Wrigley Field unique and special.
